I have guy friends that really want to be strong and appear emotionless because they think that makes them worthy. I don’t know if guys realize this, but healthy adult women actually crave authenticity with emotions as it creates that expansion of space to build intimacy and form a bond that is meaningful. So men, if there are women that make you feel shameful or victimize you for your feelings, those are not evolved women, because your emotions are actually portals into the realms of consciousness that brings your worth to beauty, healing, connection, empowerment, and leadership 💛 submitted by /u/Academic-Feedback-95

    Guy here. It’s because we have it hammered into us from a young age to “stop crying”, and then we get older and people will start to use our emotions against us.

    In 45 years I’ve met exactly one person who doesn’t use my vulnerabilities against me. I married her.
