Every time I listen to Podcast by AI experts they speak about how everything will be done by Robots and AI and act as if people wont have any response to this. As if humans will just support all these companies and not respond in any way. As an enterepnuer myself I think this is a huge miscalculation. Theres huge opportunity in being a Human only company even if its less efficient or profitable . Do you guys actually think that after seeing friends and family lose jobs, lose purpose , and any chance of upward mobility. That the average person will be lining up to support the companies that did it? Unless we’re moving into a post capitalism society where everyone’s needs are met and the robots and AI just do everything to make everyones life comfortable then I think its reasonable to predict that most of the population will Hate AI and Robots and actively seek to support businesses that employ humans. Hand crafted things will become valuable. I think of old school Mercedes AMG .“1 man 1 engine”. Its inefficient, the humans probably made mistakes at times. But it made an AMG special. You open the hood and you can see who built the entire engine , by himself. What do you guys think? I think alot of companies are going to waste alot of money only to find that humans dont care if the robot is techinically better. They’d prefer another human anyways. This is different than other techinogies that displaced humans because of the scale and permanent nature of it. This isnt tractors and fertilizer. submitted by /u/Head_Research_3118

I would worry about a much larger backlash once people start losing jobs and having to tell their children why they can’t feed them.
